Google is working on something which will not only power our smartphones but everything else as well. Do you know what actually Fuchsia is and how will it work in future? Let’s check out the answer to every question in depth.

What is Fuchsia?
Today we have smartphones, laptops and desktops with us and all of them work on Android, ChromeOS respectively. Just think of a situation that your smartphone, laptop both are connected to each other and what you do on your smartphone can be further controlled on your laptop and vice versa and not only this someone rings your doorbell and the toaster you are using all are connected.
Now stop thinking about this situation because Fuchsia is that platform or we can say will be the only platform in the future which will power and connect everything. World’s Largest Tech Giant Google is working on it since 2016 and it is the same as Android or ChromeOS you can say that but this single OS will be the only future. If we talk about the Fuchsia, it is one of the species of flowers whose colour is from the midst of pink and purple.

Why Fuchsia?
Our smartphones and laptops are running very finely then what is the need to change? this question is very much genuine in our minds. But Google is not working in that way as they are thinking about the future needs, smart gadgets as well and according to that point Android is not worth for it and we know that very well that Android is too wide that if Google has to circulate a security update its like climbing a mountain but if everything comes under one roof it will be very easy to control.
So, that basically what Fuchsia is and why Fuchsia is. Not only this, Fuchsia will be purely a Google product we’ll check it out further. Today it is the time of AI, Machine Learning and IOT and we are working on and with them. But if we talk about Internet Of Things (IoT) Fuchsia will be the one which will bring the revolution in IOT because any of the gadgets which come to your mind will communicate with each other by Fuchsia.
The future will work with voice and visual displays instead of relying on touch and Google is very much focussed about that too. So, the Fuchsia will be even suitable for devices which may or may not support a touch interface because the focus is on voice and not on touch.

Building of Fuchsia-
Today the Android which we use runs on the Linux Kernel and we know that Kernel is the heart of an OS. This time Google is very much concern about the Kernel as they are working with their own Kernel “Zircon” instead of Linux Kernel which is C based Kernel but Zircon is C++ based and it is microkernel which will provide better software and hardware interaction and it will be more efficient than Linux on the context of processing power and network speed.
Apart from the Kernel, Fuchsia is scripted with C, C++, Go, Rust, Dart. Swift the Apple’s language is also there in the list but make it clear that by the usage of Swift it doesn’t mean that Android and iOS can interact with each other but this will provide the Swift developers with an opportunity to work with Fuchsia. Google might also be trying to distance itself from the Oracle lawsuit took place in 2010. The two software giants have been in a battle relating to Google’s use of open-source Java application program interfaces or APIs while creating the early version of Android. But by Fuchsia, Google can dump Java as it is a Java-Free platform. Now by all this, we can say that Fuchsia will be the purely Google product.

Working concept of Fuchsia-
After the inside of Fuchsia now let’s check how will the Fuchsia work. All the OS or the Kernels which are being used consists of millions of lines of codes but Fuchsia is not like that because it works with an elastic approach means it works by combining the segments. So, every small item has a separate package and which further consists of packages and they all work with co-ordination. There are two modules “agents” which helps in the background approach and “modules” which will be visible to the user.

How Fuchsia is different from Android? What will happen with Android Applivations?-
One day everything will change to Fuchsia and we have to work with that but how that all will be done? Now if we talk about the Android Applications like Whatsapp, Facebook etc.
they will work then as well because Fuchsia is working with Flutter software development kit (SDK) which makes both Android and iOS applications. So, the developer can easily port the front end of the applications to the other platforms. The screen, according to testing by Ars Technica, is basically presented as a big scrolling list, with a profile picture, the date, your city, and a battery icon all placed at the center. Above that, you’ll find “Story” cards, or a list of recent apps. Below, you’ll see a list of suggestions for you, which acts kind of like Google Now. We can easily drag the recent applications and when we drop an application on another one we will get a split-screen mode with up to three applications.

Future of Fuchsia-
After all the information the only point which strikes our mind is whether Fuchsia will be able to overcome Android or not? This question is one of the biggest in the Tech market because there are many tech giants like Samsung, LG, Huawei etc. which works on Android and they would face difficulty on the arrival of Fuchsia but as mentioned Flutter is there to help us with this problem. Till now Google has tested Fuchsia on Chromebook and Huawei smartphone and they might have given fair results.
But it is the early phase of Fuchsia and many changes will be made and new information will arrive. So, be ready for the day when Android will be the past and Fuchsia will be the present and we will interact with the gadgets very easily.
Fuchsia is the future and it will worth than Android and Chrome. Till now this is the information and updations will be made regularly on this post. So, keep on checking.
