Whatsapp + Instagram + Messenger = ?

Very much interesting news from Mr Zukerberg and Galaxy M finally on the floor. Not only this one from Microsoft as well. Let’s check it out.

• Integration of Whatsapp, Instagram and Messenger-

• This news can be good for few but annoying for most of us. Mr Zukerberg the CEO of Facebook has recently disclosed this idea. As we all know very well that Instagram and Whatsapp are owned by Facebook. The users will continue to enjoy these services as stand-alone apps. Means the whole infrastructure of all the three platforms will be combined and that will not be an easy task. Not only this the main point is if data security. If we check about the number so, it comprises of 2.6 Billion users worldwide on the 3 platforms. The union of Instagram, WhatsApp, and Facebook Messenger doesn’t mean creating another app by combining these three. All these platforms will continue to operate as separate apps – seemingly having no effect on the users. However, they will have the backend merged into one, as revealed by some FB personnel involved in this venture. According to the reports, this project will reach completion by the end of 2019 or in early 2020. Well presently, Facebook hasn’t revealed any official statement on the plan. But now the point to make clear is that Whatsapp, Instagram is controlled by Facebook which makes it creepy. Statement from Mark:- “We want to build the best messaging experiences we can; and people want to message to be fast, simple, reliable and private. We’re working on making more of our messaging products end-to-end encrypted and considering ways to make it easier to reach friends and family across networks.”

• Samsung Galaxy M series-

• Finally, the wait is now over as Korea’s Manufacturer Samsung has launched the Galaxy M series for India on 28th January. As mentioned by Samsung the main idea behind this series is to bring something for millennials. So, this M series comprises of 3 smartphones Samsung Galaxy M10, M20, M30. If we check out the starting price of the series i.e. Rs.7,990 which clearly shows that this time there is a neck to neck competition with Xiaomi. If we check the statement from Asim Warsi, senior vice-president of Samsung India he said “Today’s millennials want a smartphone that is lighting fast, runs longer and comes loaded with latest innovations. Meaningful innovation and customer-centric approach form a part of our very DNA and the new Galaxy M series is an embodiment of that commitment,”. The phones will be there in the online market like Amazon from 5th Feb and till now only 2 of them are launched and they are M10 and M20 only.
